Short Run Books, Booklets, and Directories
Books are defined as 1-color (black) body pages on 50#, 60# or 70# offset text stock with 1, 2, or 4-color cover pages. Books are often used for employee manuals, part books, instruction booklets, operating manuals, and much more. Options for Short Run Books and Booklets
To simplify ordering and keep your costs as low as possible, books 80 pages and below will be saddle stitched. Saddle stitched books may be ordered with the same offset text stock used for the body pages also being used for the cover (called a self cover). Self covers must be printed in one or two colors. Books above 80 pages will perfect bind and must use a heavier and more durable coated or offset cover stock. Speedcolor will print books up to 500 pages, within the standard product ordering page.
